Balcony

The Balcony bra is a half-cup style bra (not as much cup coverage as the full cup) has great uplift with wider set straps.

Bustier

A one piece under garment which incorporates flexible light boning features and a long row of hook and eye fastenings at the back, all designed to give you that superb shape. The bustier may also feature removable suspenders and shoulder straps

Camisole/Cami

A camisole is a short top with spaghetti straps, usually ending at waist length.

Camisoles can be worn under blouses or suits and depending on how daring you are as outerwear – great with jeans.

Full cup

A full cup bra completely covers the breast, offering great comfort and support without compromising on style.

Ideal to wear with:-

Full cup bras are great for everyday wear including evening wear creating smooth lines – because they are fuller in the cup they are more suitable to wear with tops etc. that have a higher neckline.

Minimiser

A minimiser bra is designed to minimise the projection of the bust by distributing the breast tissue in such a way as to give a flatter overall appearance.

Because of it “flattening” effect it enables women to wear front-buttoned shirts, blouses and tops without the clothes pulling and gaping. A case of now you see them now you don’t!

Moulded

Moulded bras have cups, which are machine moulded from a single piece of fabric or foam – this gives the bra a seamless, natural shape with full support.

The moulded bra is a fantastic addition to your bra wardrobe proving to be an excellent, supportive everyday day bra. Fantastic shaping and seamless cups make it ideal to wear with all types of tops including those clingy ones.

Multi-way

Multi-way bras have straps that, because of genius designing, can accomplish a variety of different looks to enhance and compliment the clothes your wearing. This is due to the unique hook and eye configurations available. Depending on what your wearing your multi way can easily adapt from halter neck, to backless, criss cross to normal over the shoulder straps or indeed strapless. You can even add clear straps too.

Nursing

You don’t need to sacrifice all the comfort and support just because, at this time in your life, you need a little more flexibility from your bra. Nursing bras are specifically designed to meet the needs of a breastfeeding mum and, because you’re not Houdini, you will require front flaps that can be easily opened and closed with one hand.

Plunge

Plunge bras have a lower front (where the cups join the band) and the cups themselves are slightly more angled creating an appearance of more cleavage and centre gore is thinner.

Sports

A good sports bra is essential it is specially designed to maximise support and to cut down on the bounce. Some design features to look out for are:- wider straps which can be non stretch or of limited stretch. Moisture wicking properties:- this helps draw moisture away from the body – to ensure maximum comfort and dryness while working out and a wider under band for additional comfort. Some manufacturers rate their bras depending on the level and intensity of the exercise undertaken. Feel the burn not the bounce!

Strapless

This bra is designed to stay in place without straps but still offer the same support as bras with straps – gripper elastic ensures that the bra will gently grip the skin other design features may include a wider back and boning under the arms.

Strapless bras are designed to wear with evening dresses and other tops and dresses which have no sleeves or thinly strapped tops.

T-shirt

A T-shirt bra is a seamless cup bra which can moulded and is designed to appear invisible under clothing – lined or light padding of the cups help ensure that there is no nipple show through.

T-shirts bras because of their seamless cup qualities are great to wear with T-shirts, close fitting tops and dresses – in fact ideal for whenever you need that perfect silhouette.

Under wire Bra

Under wire bras have a thin, flexible wire made of metal or plastic whose tips are covered to protect the bra and help prevent poke through. The wire helps the bra achieve a greater degree of support to the cups of the bras.
